About YOTELAIR London Gatwick Airport

Gatwick South Terminal in Horley is where you'll find YOTELAIR London Gatwick Airport, a hotel built for travellers who need somewhere convenient rather than sprawling. With just 46 rooms, it's a small, focused operation designed around the rhythm of flights rather than long holidays, and its position inside the terminal means there's no trekking with luggage across car parks or shuttle buses to worry about.

Rooms are compact cabins rather than conventional hotel rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, comfortable bedding and a shower that guests consistently rate highly. Some cabins are snug, so this suits those who want a clean, quiet place to sleep rather than space to spread out. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, along with a lift, free WiFi, room service and in-room drinks. Staff are noted for being helpful, which matters when you're arriving late or leaving early.

There's no parking on site, which fits its role as an airport stopover rather than a destination in its own right. Nearby you'll find a golf course, pubs, restaurants and other eateries, plus entertainment options in the surrounding area, useful if you've got a few hours to fill before a flight. For a short layover or an early departure, it does exactly what it needs to.

This was a lifesaver after an overnight flight and long layover. Worth booking! The room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed to refresh and nap. I was surprised how quiet it was too! The staff were friendly and offered tea and coffee. The location is super convenient and you save paying for a cab.

The Perfect Airport Hotel for a Layover I recently stayed at YOTELAIR London Gatwick, and for anyone with an early flight, a late arrival or a long layover, it’s hard to beat. The biggest advantage is the location. It’s inside Gatwick Airport, so there’s no need to pay for taxis or travel to an off site airport hotel. Everything is right where you need it, making the whole experience completely stress free. The rooms are compact and feel more like a modern first class cabin than a traditional hotel room. Don’t expect large windows or fresh air, but for a short stay they’re incredibly comfortable. The futuristic design is brilliant, making clever use of every bit of space while still feeling stylish and relaxing. Despite the size, the room has everything you need. There are plenty of USB charging ports, a TV, a comfortable bed, a great shower and complimentary shampoo and toiletries. It’s obvious that the room has been designed with travellers in mind. I had time to enjoy a hot shower, relax with a glass of wine, get some proper rest and recharge before my flight. There’s also a coffee shop nearby for breakfast and coffee, along with convenient snacks and essentials if you need them. The staff were friendly, welcoming and made check in quick and easy. The best part came the next morning. I simply left the hotel, took the airport shuttle and within minutes I was at my departure terminal. No taxis, no traffic and no stress. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay before an early flight or during a long layover, I wouldn’t hesitate to book YOTELAIR Gatwick again. The unbeatable location, excellent service, clever room design and thoughtful little touches make it the perfect choice for me.

Im pretty disappointed to be honest. Checked in tonight and the room is swelteringly hot... wearing only a pair of shorts the sweat is pouring off me! Decided to have a cool shower and the shower STINKS of stagnant water, then it took 3 minutes to heat up from freezing to lukewarm before what can only be described as a street inspired tap dance When it then went nuclear hot. I was busting moves I've not done since I was 19! Yes its pretty cheap but I've stayed in numerous airport 'pod-style' rooms and this is the worst to date.

Stayed here for one night before an early flight and I’d definitely stay again. I came in via the train station and found the entrance really hard to find. If it wasn’t for a Google photo showing the lifts down to the hotel, I honestly wouldn’t have known where to go. Even with that, I still had to ask airport staff for help, but they were lovely and pointed me in the right direction. For reference, it’s right next to the Pret. The lift only goes down and when you come out, reception is on the left. Check-in staff were friendly and welcoming. I think his name was Nathe or something similar. Very smiley and helpful and answered all my questions. I wasn’t offered a hot drink but I didn’t want one anyway. I probably wouldn’t have known this was a thing if it wasn’t mentioned in other reviews. The room was very clean, compact, and incredibly quiet. So quiet it actually made me be more quiet myself. I had a raised single bed which was comfy, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. The room felt really well thought out. I kept thinking “where can I put this?” and then immediately spotting hooks or storage exactly where you’d want them. I also really liked the pink lighting. It worked perfectly as a soft night light. The room was a bit chilly when I arrived, but honestly perfect for sleeping. The shower was amazing. Properly hot with great water pressure and a waterfall shower head. Shower gel and shampoo were provided and smelled really nice. One small downside was the TV sound. The background noise and laughing were loud but the speech was quite quiet, so the sound balance felt a bit off. There was someone at checkout when I left at 4am and they were also very polite. I booked the room a week in advance and paid £81, which I thought was reasonable for an airport hotel. Best for solo travellers, though couples would be fine if you book a double. I’d definitely stay here again.
