About Oxcombe Campsite
Tucked away in the Lincolnshire Wolds near Horncastle, Oxcombe Campsite offers ten simple grass pitches in genuinely peaceful surroundings. There's no electric hook-up here – this is proper back-to-basics camping, where campfires are actively encouraged and the main evening entertainment is watching the stars emerge over gently rolling countryside. Dogs are welcome to join the adventure.
Facilities cover the essentials – showers, toilets, drinking water – without any of the bells and whistles, which suits the stripped-back vibe perfectly. Families find it works well for kids who just want space to roam, though you'll need to bring your own entertainment as there's no WiFi to fall back on. If you're after a genuinely tranquil escape in the Wolds with a cracking reputation among those who've visited, this ticks the box.

What visitors say
We've just returned to this delightful 'pop up' campsite for a second visit. The location and views from the site are fantastic and the facilities always clean and tidy. Ed has always been friendly and welcoming, so all in all, one of our favorite sites and we'll be back again soon Sam

An absolutely stunning little place. The views are beautiful, and the facilities are everything you could ever need and more. The site includes 2 well sized shower rooms and toilets, plus a large converted barn with log burner and facilities to make teas and coffee. The barn also includes a fridge and a comfy sofa. I camped with a mate and our 2 3 year old boys and they also loved it.

Really nice camsite located on a working farm. Stunning views of Lincolnshire wolds. Shower block with toilets hot showers and sink with hot water and washing machines. Large communal area with tables and chairs fridge and kettle and a sink to wash up. If your holiday was to be spoiled with rain with the large communal area it would not be a total wash out.

This place is beautiful, this is our second stay and we can not recommend it enough. The little touches are brilliant for example we came to the cow shed (the communal are) and there was a basket of fruit with a little note to help yourself, such a lovely touch.
