Arundel Castle and the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum are nearby, as is Brighton for a day out. The cottage itself is ground-floor throughout, making it straightforward to manage.

Inside, a living room with woodburner and sofa bed opens into a kitchen/dining space with patio doors leading to a garden with seating. There's a separate bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom, plus a utility room and additional toilet. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, with initial fuel for the woodburner included. Private parking accommodates two cars, and an enclosed courtyard and grassed area provide a secure space for dogs; one pet stays free. The property is non-smoking.

This works well for a couple or small family needing a one-storey layout, or for friends sharing. Cots and highchairs are available.
