Woodlands Dairy Cottage stands at the end of a farm road on 86 acres of working land, where sheep and beef cattle graze. The building itself is a converted dairy, and everything guests need is on the ground floor: two bedrooms (one with a king bed and ensuite, one with two singles and ensuite), a combined living and dining space with an electric woodburner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. There's also a utility room with a washing machine, a separate toilet, and underfloor heating throughout. The essentials are covered—electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels included—and there's private parking for two cars on site.
An enclosed courtyard provides outdoor space with seating and a barbecue. One dog is welcome, though it must be kept on a lead given the working farm setting. The location sits close enough to footpaths and bridleways for walking and cycling straight from the door, with the South Downs National Park nearby. Arundel, with its castle and cathedral, is within reach for a day out, as is Brighton to the south. Chichester Cathedral and various local attractions lie within reasonable driving distance. Lambing happens in springtime for anyone interested in farm life.
