What visitors say
If you like basic camping fields in beautiful locations, you will love Clyde’s Camping. It’s basically two fields with a tap in each. Surrounded by trees and away from any noisy roads. There is a toilet in the owners’ yard, about 150m away. It is so peaceful, and the owners are delightful, friendly but unobtrusive. There are no notices laying down the rules; you’re grownups, they trust you to do the right thing. Twenty minutes’ walk to a brilliant pub - the Five Bells - one way, and the same to a little vineyard, Kinsbrook, the other. Both places do brilliant food; the pub is solidly traditional, the vineyard cutting edge contemporary - think small plates, top ingredients put together lovingly - that sort of thing. We love this place and we will be back!

What a gem of a campsite. Very pretty and well kept. Peace and tranquility. Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere! And the owners are such genuine, lovely people. Chem disposal point, grey water waste drain and freshwater available. There is one toilet on site for use if you don’t have onboard facilities. A great find!!! We will definitely be back!

What a lovely, friendly, well kept place to pitch up for a few days! Facilities are very basic, fresh water is available and there's one flushing toilet with a sink, but that's all. There are horses and dogs in residence, and a few goats too. It is quiet and peaceful, and there is a really nice pub about a 15 minute walk away.

Amazing place. Jacky and Dave are incredibly kind and we had the perfect stay at their camping. Such a charming area to stay a few days. Would definitely recommend!
