About The Old Golf House Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western
Huddersfield sits at the heart of West Yorkshire, and on its New Hey Road stands The Old Golf House Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, a 51-room hotel spread across three floors that pairs older architectural character with more contemporary comforts. It makes a practical base for exploring the town or breaking a journey, with free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point among its useful extras.
Rooms include family options, and the hotel runs its own restaurant and bar alongside a snack bar and breakfast service, so there's little need to head out for a meal. A garden gives some outdoor space to sit, and the property also handles weddings and meetings, with function rooms available for both. Free WiFi runs throughout, and pets are welcome for those travelling with animals.
Outside the hotel, guests will find a golf course nearby along with a choice of pubs and restaurants within easy reach, making it straightforward to combine a stay with a round of golf or an evening out. Luggage storage is available for those arriving early or leaving late.
Guests consistently praise this hotel for its great location near the motorway, pleasant and professional staff, and clean bathrooms.
Other reviews mention the facilities can be neglected and there can be no food service.
