Yeovil Railway Centre

We visited for christmas, the enthusiastic volunteers made it a fun and wholesome experience with lots of laughs! The model railway was thoroughly enjoyed by my youngest and knowing that we were supporting a heritage site made it all the better. I would recommend it for all but especially those with children that would like a magical but calmer experience. Also, Father Christmas was all that we had hoped for.

Not great value for money. Paid £26 for 2 adult tickets.. Children were included which was great. The volunteers on the gate were very helpful and friendly. For parents with young children this is not a good day out as the train ride is too short and the other facilities are very run down, unfortunately. Needs a bit of investment to attract a younger crowd..

Bought as a birthday gift we couldn’t have ever imagined how awesome the day was with these wonderful people. Thinking we’d just been shown a few things and had a little drive, we were wrong. My partner couldn’t stop smiling. He still hasn’t stopped talking about it. I can not begin to describe how happy we were and if you get an opportunity do it! To think this is all run by volunteers is incredible. This is something that’s a real treat but we will be back. Especially for those pasties

We came to do steam rides and meet paw patrol. Staff fantastic and very knowledgeable and really friendly!. Nothings to much trouble smiley and friendly. everything was very close so no need to walk for ages. Clean and tidy. Engines look beautiful. Shop a real treat for the real enthusiast. Model train display was brilliant Lovely time Just update we have been to the santa special and easter to meet Peter rabbit any event they hold here we have the best time!
