Just had the most amazing week at hidden valley with our son and dog with cousins coming to visit for 2 nights. From check in to check out this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Truly so sad to have left this morning but already excited to plan another stay! Facilities are amazing, vibe is so relaxed and family centered and the whole set up is clean, practical and beautiful. Thank you so much to the whole hidden valley team, you really made our half term incredibly special, especially the lovely reception staff.

We stayed here in our camper and were throughly impressed. The location and site is quiet and surrounded by nature, our pitch was also large enough for our purposes with everything we needed. Facilities were clean and modern, obviously being maintained often. Shower was nice and hot too. Would highly recommend and I'll certainly be coming back in future.

We were looking for a place to stay with the campervan for a few days over the Easter bank holiday weekend to explore north Devon. From check in to check out the staff were friendly and informative. Check in was smooth with clear instructions given on how the site worked and how to activate the electricity on the pitch (extra payment in addition to the pitch put on to a smart card at reception with any remaining money credited back on check out). The site was clean, well laid out and quiet throughout the night. There is a busy A-road adjacent to the campsite but it quietens down later in the evening. The site also has a woodland walk for stretching the legs or walking the dogs if need be. The ablutions were clean and tidy throughout our stay. There is a small shop co-located with reception and a small bar/ coffee shop with a pool table that we used next door to it. Mobile phone signal on EE was pretty poor so we chose to pay £10 for 4 days wifi provided by the site (this covered 2 devices and was intermittent - wouldn’t recommend for streaming but was ok for scrolling social media). We found the digital tv signal very weak at this site but it’s to be expected when the site is located in woodland. Option available to connect to the site antennas for fee. Overall, a pleasant stay and would return to this site if we found ourselves back in North Devon.

Nice location for walking with your dog. Shower block very dated and very cold. Shower takes an absolute age to get to temperature. Instead of fancy lights on the mirrors it would be better to spend some money on having a decent shower block with a good shower. No mention of restaurant and bar being closed from the end of September which was also disappointing .
