About Crown Hotel Guesthouse
Inverness Castle and the banks of the River Ness are both within walking distance of Crown Hotel Guesthouse, making it a handy base for exploring the city centre on foot. Golf, fishing, cycling routes and walking trails are all nearby too, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings after a day out.
This is a small guesthouse rather than a large hotel, with every room offering private en-suite facilities, including two rooms suited to families. A residents' lounge gives guests somewhere to relax away from their room, and breakfast is served each morning to set you up for the day. Other practical touches include free WiFi, drinks available in the room, a garden, 24 hour reception and an on-site gym.
It suits travellers who want straightforward, central accommodation without the scale of a big hotel, with the castle, river and city centre restaurants all close enough to reach on foot.
What guests say
The room was very clean and good smell. Very comfortable bed. Nice views from the room as well full of light. Wifi ok. Not even 10 min walking from the train station and from malls, shops... Quiet place. I hope my office can send me again here, I really enjoyed .

Room / bath were mediocre. Offered laundry service, and then returned clothes covered in oil stains. Ruined hundreds of dollars of clothes, and told us we were "lucky we weren't being charged for the cleaning". Owner was absolutely rude to us, and took over 2 hours out of our day making us unpack our clothes, and inspecting every item before saying he wouldn't do anything. Never staying here again.

Very Basic B&B. Clean but there was nothing exceptional about it. Separate bathroom, across common landing. Towels were like sandpaper and very coarse. Broken chair leg in bedroom and what looked like a bullet hole in centre window. No breakfast and no staff so not really B&B just a bed. Limited Paid parking at end of street.

Small twin room, very cheap. Bathroom is across the hall from our room but it's only for us. Don't expect luxury, it's a simple cheap place that's less than 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Tea & coffee facilities in the room, has a decent sized freeview TV, hair dryer, a few coat hangers and a bottle of water.
