About Leanach Farm B&B
A working sheep farm sets Leanach Farm B&B apart from the usual Inverness stopover, with just three rooms kept simple and comfortable rather than dressed up. It's a small, homely operation, with a lounge for guests to settle into and free WiFi throughout, plus a garden to sit out in when the weather allows.
Breakfast is included, and there's a restaurant and bar on site for evening meals and drinks, with more pubs and restaurants nearby for anyone who fancies a change of scene. Free on-site parking makes it easy to come and go, and pets are welcome, so the farm setting suits those travelling with a dog as much as those after a quiet base. Extras such as laundry service and luggage storage are useful for longer stays or onward travel.
The location puts Loch Ness and Culloden battlefield within easy reach, making it a practical base for exploring the sights around Inverness. It's a modest, working-farm B&B rather than a polished hotel, and that straightforward character is very much the point.

We went there for a working dog demonstration. It was an excellent experience. The guide was very passionate about his craft and the working dogs were amazing. A highlight of our trip so far.

Room: Super cozy!! Very comfortable, and well kept. Slightly on the smaller end but I cannot complain. My suitcase and all my stuff fit very well. Bathroom was great as well! Shower was hot and worked very well along with all facilities. Service: breakfast was made fresh and so tasty! The hostess was super friendly, and quite pleasant. She’s been in the industry for many years and her level of professionalism, kindness, and care really shows it. Location: Although a bit far out of town if you’re looking to explore Inverness, the farm location provides the COOLEST experience. The farm owner was super kind as we walked around the farm. It was great to wake up and see sheep lying down and resting just outside, or watch the horse and cows graze in the distance. Highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit near Inverness, or are stopping off for the night on a road trip!

Quiet farm location, comfortable beds, clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast. Lighting was a bit dim in the room and bathroom for my liking, but my friend preferred the dim light. For breakfast, we filled out a form on arrival, checking off what we would like to have the next morning. I got the kippers with poached eggs, hot chocolate, croissant, orange juice, cheese, and fruit. Kippers are smoked fish (bones inside but edible). My friend had the vegetarian breakfast, toast, coffee, fruit, etc. There was nice honey, jam and butter on the table. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast. Enjoyed watching the cute sheep and dogs. Conveniently located between Culloden Moor and Clava Cairns.
