You arrive at a single-storey lodge set on open moorland near Inverness, with views across the Highland landscape. Inside, everything is on one level: an open-plan living space combining lounge, kitchen and dining area fills with daylight, and two bedrooms sit either side with their own shower rooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and ensuite; the second has two single beds. The kitchen is equipped to cook properly—gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave—and a washing machine is on hand. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included. One dog or cat can stay free.

Culloden Moor has Bronze Age standing stones (Clava Cairns) nearby and is quiet countryside, though Inverness and its attractions lie within reach by car. A private decked patio overlooks the grounds, and there is parking for two vehicles. No smoking inside. The lodge works for couples, families or groups of four wanting a base somewhere peaceful, with the space to cook and the infrastructure to stay comfortably through a longer stay.
