About Loch Earn
Culduthel Road climbs above Inverness on the edge of the Highlands, and it's here that Loch Earn offers a quiet base for exploring the area. The setting gives easy reach into the city itself, said to be around 2.52 miles off, while keeping guests away from the busier central streets.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and are set up to suit families, with drinks available in room and breakfast served to start the day. Free WiFi runs throughout, and there's a garden for guests who want to sit outside, plus 24 hour reception for whatever time you arrive. Free on-site parking makes it a straightforward stop if you're driving up.
Culloden Battlefield lies nearby and is well worth the visit for anyone interested in Highland history, while golf and fishing are both within reach for those wanting to spend a day outdoors. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are close by too, along with local entertainment options, so evenings are easily filled without having to travel far from Culduthel Road.
What guests say
Great find, rooms are stylish, top quality and immaculate. Breakfast offers a good range of cooked and continental. Few very minor niggles as this is a new business, dealt with graciously and with good humour. Would definitely recommend and return.

4.5 ⭐ Very soft comfortable beds. Check in was a bit odd, hard to find the correct building/staff to get the key. Breakfast was very nice.

The bathrooms are gorgeous, the highlight of the rooms. Very comfortable bedrooms. The spread that was laid out for breakfast was truly impressive, such a large selection. The host was very kind and has a laugh or two with us - very kind and gracious.

This review is from my girlfriend, Cara O. We had the pleasure of staying here for one night on June 30th of 2025. The rooms were extremely comfortable and modern. Max showed us around and informed us of all the amenities. We are a huge fan of Max and the property. Breakfast was amazing! Plenty of options for hot or cold breakfast. Highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer!
