We had a great visit to the castle. All the staff were very knowledgeable, patient and friendly, they interacted easily with all the different visitors in their rooms. The self guided tour is comprehensive and the rooms are beautifully staged. The tower stairs are steep, so I wouldn't recommend them for those with mobility problems. The tearoom was welcoming and served a range of food and drinks. There is also a lovely giftshop and book shop. We wandered around the gardens but past their best because we visited in October.

I have been here a few times. I haven’t been inside the castle, however nice woodland walks, suitable for dogs, prams and children. Cafe inside, expensive but standard kind of prices for these kinds of places. Children’s play area, clean and plenty of parking. Parking is £5, which goes towards upkeep of the stunning location

castle Fraser is one of the largest tower houses in Scotland, with a core that dates from as early as 1450. Explore the grand hall and towers, discovering the colourful history of the Fraser lairds. The traditional walled garden is vibrant throughout the seasons, with specimen trees, herbaceous borders and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. You can also enjoy some of the fresh produce in our recently refurbished courtyard tearoom....definitely worth a visit
