Holyhead sits on the northwest tip of Anglesey, where moorland meets the Irish Sea. The village is surrounded by dramatic coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the RSPB reserve and its breeding seabirds just minutes away. Sandy coves like Porth Dafarch lie within easy reach, and the cliffs here are home to grey seals and puffins.
Awel Y Mor is a single-storey lodge sleeping four across two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with bunks. There is one shower room. The living space opens onto a decked area through patio doors, with a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. An enclosed front garden has a sitting area, garden furniture and barbecue. The property's private hot tub seats four. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; there is parking for two cars and a bike store. One well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking.
From the doorstep you can walk the Anglesey coastal path, with some of north Wales's most striking seascapes underfoot. Trearddur Bay, a mile or so away, has pubs and shops. The property does not suit smokers, and isn't available to large groups or events.
