South Stack Lighthouse sits just minutes away by car, a renowned RSPB reserve where the cliffs host breeding seabirds and puffins, with grey seals in the waters below. Walking trails and cycle routes start from the doorstep and lead up Holyhead Mountain itself. Snowdonia National Park, the castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris, and the port of Holyhead—with its ferry connections to Ireland—are all within easy reach. A shop lies a mile away; pubs and restaurants about a mile and a half.
Fferam Gorniog is a detached stone cottage on the mountainside, offering four guests across two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds (double below, single above). The main living and dining room has a wood-burning stove and a 36-inch smart TV; there is a second living room upstairs with a 40-inch screen. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and all standard appliances. One bathroom contains a bath with shower. Central heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included; the wood-burner comes with initial fuel. An enclosed terraced garden with patio and barbecue looks out over the harbour towards Snowdonia.
One small dog stays free. The property has parking for two cars on site. There are steps in the garden. No smoking inside.
