Neuadd Wen Cottages - Alarch is a ground-floor cottage overlooking the Alaw Estuary, converted from a farm building and set within the owner's farmland. The open-plan living space contains a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a dining area and a sitting room with Freeview TV. Bedroom one has a king bed with ensuite shower; bedroom two has zip-and-link single beds (can be pushed together as a double) with its own ensuite. One dog stays free and can use the enclosed patio with garden furniture. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included.
The cottage suits families or groups of four who want to explore the island from a quiet base. A sandy beach lies a mile away; the coastal footpath passes nearby. Tyn-y-Gongl has a shop and pub within half a mile, and restaurants are within reach. The grounds contain an unfenced estuary and lake, so this matters if you're bringing young children. On-site coarse fishing is available (licence required), and there is parking for three cars. The property is smoke-free.
