About Ormidale Hotel
Ormidale is a family-run pub with rooms set back from Brodick's shorefront, around 15 minutes' walk from the ferry terminal and close to the golf course and castle grounds. It has long been one of the island's more sociable spots for a drink, with the bar as much a hub for locals as for visiting guests.
En-suite bedrooms above the pub are simple and comfortable rather than boutique, making Ormidale a practical, good-value option for visitors who want to be a short walk from central Brodick without paying resort prices. The kitchen serves classic pub food alongside a well-kept range of drinks.
For a no-frills, sociable base within easy reach of the ferry, Ormidale suits travellers who would rather spend their budget on distillery tours and days out than on their room.
What guests say
A great find for lovers of ALE and music. Fabulous beer garden with spectacular view. Lovely staff and dog friendly. Didn't eat here but full of locals eating. The glass house out of the bar is absolutely beautiful!

We loved our time at the Ormidale… staff was friendly and welcoming… breakfast is amazing with table buffet and order from a menu. Dinner at the pub was excellent and the evening entertainment of bingo and trivia nights are good fun. Plan on staying up and enjoying the ambience. We also like the central location of Brodick.

I am reviewing this hotel for its bar not for its rooms as I didn't stay. I enjoy real ale and this place really knows how to look after it and always offers a rotating and interesting collection. The bar staff are friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed and the place is nice. Chill place to be.

Older style hotel with bustling bar and varied evening pub menu. Great brekkie - the skipness smoked haddock was the best we tasted - lots of real yoghurt, fresh fruit etc to start. Helpful and friendly. Has a number of twin rooms so good for friends sharing.
