An Absolute Gem. Flawless from Start to Finish!Our recent stay at the Bosville Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the quality of the experience across the board. ​The Staff: Every single team member we encountered was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Their local recommendations and hospitality made us feel right at home. ​The Food: Outstanding! The dining experience was a major highlight of our trip. Every meal was beautifully presented, packed with fresh flavors, and expertly prepared. ​The Rooms: Impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect sanctuary to return to after a day of exploring, complete with all the modern touches and amenities you could ask for. ​The Bosville strikes the perfect balance of luxury and genuine comfort. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back!

Excellent staff, could not fault them. Terribly overpriced for what you get. £18 for a breakfast. £24 for haddock and a few chips. Cannot believe the prices they charge for what you get. Rooms comfy enough but you can hear everything outside your door and through the floor. No carpark facilities. Good location and mornings are beautiful views but hotel itself is rather twee and hard to justify the sky high prices

Quiet, quiet rooms for sleep. Located by co-op for food and iconic ridge hikes overlooking sea and salmon farms. Chose the salmon breakfast. Eat all you want. Included . Massive sheep grazing. Very, very special.

We loved our stay! The room was so cozy, had the best tea setup (and snacks + water), and the location was perfect. We loved being able to just walk down the stairs into the little pub and having breakfast here in the morning. Our room was impeccably clean, the tub in the bathroom was big enough for a full-size mermaid (which ended up being me), and the little touches of hospitality and comfort made the Bosville one of our favorite stays in Scotland. I would 100% recommend staying here and will most certainly not hesitate to book again. Additionally, I can't say enough good things about the staff--they are so thoughtful! It was my husband's birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for us, which meant so much! We also ate at Dulse & Brose, which I totally recommend! it was SO GOOD. I got the lamb shank; my husband got the fish n chips and we both LOVED all of it. Honestly, one of the best places we ate in Scotland. I'm picky about where I eat out due to my allergies, and the staff nailed it. If you need a nudge to make your reservation, this is it. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend the bread and butter (seriously, it was a highlight--we're still sad we can't easily get Orkney butter in the US) and the sticky toffee pudding (the best!).
