Halcyon

Afton Park sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Isle of Wight, with Freshwater Bay a short walk away. The village is close enough to major attractions—The Needles are roughly ten minutes by car—yet far enough to feel genuinely quiet. Halcyon is a traditional semi-detached cottage that sleeps four across three bedrooms: two doubles and a single, with one bathroom upstairs.

The ground floor centres on a living room with an open fireplace and a dining room with electric wood-burner effect heating. French doors from the kitchen open onto a rear garden with furniture and a patio. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher and microwave among its appliances. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; gas central heating covers the colder months. There is an unfenced pond in the garden, which guests should be aware of. The property does not permit smoking.

Outside there is private parking for one large car or two small vehicles, with additional on-road parking available. The location works well for beach days, coastal walks, water sports at Freshwater Bay, or golf at the nearby club. Cyclists and walkers have access to local paths and longer trails.
