The Shieling

Walk through the door of The Shieling and you step straight into an open-plan ground floor: living space with a wood-burning stove and bi-fold doors that open onto a small patio, then the kitchen running alongside. Upstairs, a single bedroom with a king bed and a shower room complete the layout. It's a compact, uncluttered setup for two people who want to be together without formality.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, so you can cook proper meals or keep things simple. A 32" TV, wi-fi and heating are included, along with bed linen and towels. There's parking for two cars on site, and one small dog can stay for free. The patio gives you a private outdoor spot with garden furniture. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The property sits in Afton Park, within walking distance of Freshwater Bay and close to coastal paths, cycling routes and beaches including Totland and Compton bays. Yarmouth harbour town is roughly three miles away. The route to End Of The Line Cafe is nearby. Adults only; children cannot be accommodated.
