Hydan Cottage

Hydan Cottage is a two-bedroom terraced property overlooking Wootton Creek on the Isle of Wight. Four guests can stay, with a double bed in the first bedroom and two singles in the second, each with its own shower room. Downstairs there's a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, and a ground-floor shower room. A decked area opens from the living space, looking out over the water. One small dog is welcome here.

The property comes with wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Heating is electric throughout, and there's private parking for one car on site. The cottage sits on grounds that include a river. A village with a shop, pub and restaurant is three-quarters of a mile away. From here you can reach Ryde in about ten minutes by car, or take to the walking routes that crisscross the island. Osborne House, Queen Victoria's former home, is roughly ten minutes away, and the wider island offers sailing towns, castles, theme parks and wildlife centres within driving distance.
