Red Squirrel Cottage

Red Squirrel Cottage comes fully equipped for a complete holiday without needing to bring much at all. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook anything from a simple meal to a proper dinner. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; logs for the woodburner come with the booking. A washing machine handles laundry, and there's even a travel cot and highchair if you need them.

The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: a super kingsize with ensuite shower on the ground floor, a kingsize and twin on the first floor, plus a family bathroom with both a slipper bath and shower cubicle. Downstairs, the living and dining room opens through bi-fold doors onto decking where you'll find a BBQ and garden furniture. The real draw is the private hot tub for six, looking over the grounds. There's parking for two cars and a bike store if you want to explore the island's cycle routes.

Ventnor itself is three miles away with its beach and restaurants; the village pub and a shop are within walking distance. The Heritage Coast and Tennyson Trail are nearby for walkers, and the Needles, Osborne House and various other attractions are reachable for a day out. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
