Whitwell Farm Retreat

Whitwell Farm Retreat is a two-bedroom stone cottage built to last, positioned in the quiet village of Whitwell on the Isle of Wight. The ground floor contains a living room with Freeview Smart TV, a dining room, and a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, microwave and washing machine. A conservatory leads to a back garden with seating and furniture. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double and one with twin singles—plus two bathrooms with shower and bath respectively.

The village itself centres on The White Horse Inn, reputedly the island's oldest pub, a five-minute walk away. Nettlecombe Farm fishing lake is also close by. Niton, a few minutes' drive, has a convenience store, chemist, post office with tearoom, small supermarket and bookshop. The surrounding countryside opens onto walking trails that lead toward St. Catherine's Lighthouse and Niton Undercliff, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Castle Cove lies within reach, as do the Buddle Inn and Blackgang Chine Theme Park. Ventnor's sandy beach and shops are nearby. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. One car can park on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.
