St Marys Road

St Marys Road is a three-storey mid-terrace cottage in Cowes, within a mile of the coast and a short walk from the town's shops, pubs and restaurants. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: two with single beds, one with a bunk bed. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space leading to a kitchen equipped for self-catering, with a shower room and utility area tucked behind. The layout involves steep, narrow stairs between floors, which guests should know about.

Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There's on-road parking outside. The cottage does not permit smoking, and is not suitable for children under two years old. Getting to the island is straightforward from Southampton via Red Funnel ferries, either the half-hourly passenger service or hourly car ferry from the town quay.

Cowes is known for sailing; the marina, sailing events and Fast Cat ferry are nearby. The wider island offers beaches, The Needles, the Steam Railway, botanical gardens and various family attractions. This works as a base for a seaside break, a crew let during sailing season, or exploring the island's outdoor activities.
