The Beach House

Ventnor's sheltered microclimate and seafront location have drawn visitors since Victorian times, and The Beach House sits moments from the sand and shingle beach. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site and direct access to the terrace on the ground floor—the elevated living and dining spaces open onto it through large patio doors, with views across the water.

All three bedrooms occupy the ground floor: a super king with ensuite shower, a double with smart TV and ensuite, and two singles sharing a family bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. The open-plan kitchen and living area upstairs handles the cooking and entertaining, with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and coffee machine; a washer-dryer is built in. The dining terrace seats six, partially screened with glass and stainless steel balustrades, and includes sun loungers. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The property is non-smoking.

There are steps in the grounds, and one step up to the entrance. Ventnor's art galleries, restaurants and botanical gardens—housed in the Victorian sanitorium—are within walking distance. Guests typically arrive after 16:00 and depart before 10:00.
