We have just stayed here as a family with a baby. We stayed in one of the lodges which exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We paid a reasonable additional price to have a travel cot and highchair which was so helpful! The food in the restaurant was very nice We ate there on a few occasions. The entertainment was good for little one but we are out of season so was very much the same every night. It is a great base for near by attractions too. The only thing we found let the site down was we did a monday to Friday stay and the pool was only open at the weekend, we had to go to the languard park dean a mile away to swim which was a bit run down in my opinion. Visited for a 7 night stay during the July 2026 heatwave, pre English school holidays, as a family of 4. A mixed bag for us personally. Positives: Hassle free check in/out, Caravan was clean, tidy and in good condition. Was an excellent base for our holiday, especially as it was under trees so alleviated some of the heat. Great for access to red squirrel trail, and also numerous supermarkets in easy walking distance (Morrisons/Lidl/Aldi). Negatives: Access to the outdoor pools was a chore. Restricted opening and very low numbers permitted in the pool at once meant having to arrive early and queue for a slot. Clubhouse entertainment mediocre at best, certainly uninspiring. The campsite felt quite traffic heavy, particularly with staff flying around in cars cleaning chalets at around 10/11am. There is also an astonishing amount of dogs being walked on site, mostly on leads, but this does create a lot of noise as they interact. Fine if your dog people, but not so good if you are not. Probably the biggest negative however was seeing the number of discarded cigarette butts everywhere, as well as dog poo bags left on walkways and used nappies and broken glass on the campsite. These were cleared up but it left a poor impression, especially as the only litter picker we seen was stood under a tree on his phone. Overall I would suggest this site is best to use as a base for wider exploring, but falls below the standard of other static caravan sites we have experienced (both Parkdean and Haven)

14 of us holidayed in 3 caravans fir a long weekend. Had a great time. Shame there's no air conditioning in the caravans. Unless we missed something, there needs to be more than one indoor and one outdoor pool. The playgrounds are great if you don't mind the kids getting dirty from the chopped up rubber tyre cushioning beneath the climbing frames

Pros; -Ideal location, walking distance to the best parts of Shanklin, quick drive to the beach at Sandown, close to shops. -Family friendly, definitely a family atmosphere here. -Amenities are good, on site food delivery, arcade, bar, shop, Bike hire and small park all fine. -Large site, plenty of room. -Hot Tub! Cons; -“Luxury lodge” is a very nice caravan, but not a lodge. - Cleanliness and attention to detail is lacking. Opened the travel cot we paid for to discover old crumbs and food frome previous people. - Value for money during school holidays is still poor, £1,300+ is a rip off and no one will convince me otherwise. - Outdoor pool was out of use, indoor pool was so small you had to book weeks in advance allegedly, something we did not know until we were there so never got to swim. Kids were most upset. - Tiny car Park for Reception for such a big site, always full. - Staff were stressed, this is forgivable as it was school holidays and very busy. But regardless, it did not make for the most welcoming of arrivals.
