Families and small groups will find The Old Dairy works well as a base for a self-contained stay. Three bedrooms sleep up to five: a kingsize, one single, and two singles. There are two bathrooms, a practical setup for sharing. The whole property is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with decking and furniture.

Inside, the ground floor combines living and dining space with a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare proper meals. A separate games room has a TV, table football, and Nintendo Wii. Upstairs the bedrooms are straightforward; downstairs you also get a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. A highchair is available if needed.

The property sits on a small hobby farm near Whitwell, roughly ten minutes' drive from Ventnor itself. The rural setting means quiet surroundings, though the seaside town with its beach, Botanic Gardens and other attractions is close by if you want them. No smoking inside. An electric car charging point is on site if you need it.

We have just spent a week at this beautiful cottage and we certainly were not disappointed. Emma & Chris were so friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The cottage is spotless, so well equipped and very comfortable. We would have happily stayed here another few weeks! My children loved feeding the alpacas, lambs and Bramley the pony! Its location is perfect for exploring the island. Its a peaceful location yet still so close to beautiful beaches and little villages for things to do. We would most definitely return! Thanks Emma & Chris!

A simply lovely place to stay! We had a warm welcome from Emma who showed us around the accommodation. The treats left for us in the ‘fridge was a such lovely touch; thank you! The place was roomy, spotlessly clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed to make a truly enjoyable stay. We loved returning to it after a day exploring the island to relax, either on the sofas in front of the tv, a game of table football or in the outside space with a book and a drink. The beds were super comfy too. The Old dairy is perfectly situated to explore the island and many ideas were left in the welcome pack for us. We really needed another week to see all the places we wanted to! It was great feeding the cute Alpacas as well! Emma and Chris are such friendly and caring hosts; we couldn’t be happier with finding this gem of a place for a holiday. We highly recommend it!!

Fantastic week at the Old Dairy. The accomodation is tardis-like....from the outside it looks quite small, but it is huge. I don't think we have ever stayed in such a well equipped cottage...everything you could need. Emma and Chris are wonderful hosts and our 2 year old grandson loved feeding the alpacas.

Just returning home from a lovely week in the Isle of Wight. Our stay at The Old Dairy was excellent! Having two small children we tend to opt for self catering, I have never seen such a well equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean upon our arrival and Emma was there to greet us and show us around the cottage, also providing a few local goodies for us to try, which was a really lovely touch. We will definitely be staying again at The Old Dairy, such a beautiful, peaceful location, very central to a lot of attractions too. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay in stunning surroundings. Thank you Emma and Chris!
