What visitors say
Went here with my national trust pass and it was a beautiful area. The main hall tour was very detailed and immersive. The parkland are massive and will take you the whole day to explore, unfortunately didn't get to see any deers this time round.

A lovely place for a day out. Lots of trails to walk and see either sheep or if you are lucky the deer that call this property home. The house is beautiful with endless rooms to explore. Lots of information is provided on signage but the staff of incredibly knowledgable and answer any and all questions you may have. There is more to see outside the home with a carriage house, laundry and brewery room and Kitchen. Endless things to see. If you go in May the Wisteria is lovely on the side of the house and smells absolutely amazing. Parking is across the road but easily accessible to the park and allows to walk the long driveway towards the house.

A fabulous house and gardens belonging to the Lucy family who originally came over with William the Conqueror. The current house has been on the site since the 1500s and parts of the original Tudor building remain. The main house is hard on the banks of the River Avon, with stunning walks through the grounds. There is plenty of parking, two cafes, toilets, two shops plus a garden centre. The house also hosts one of the largest collections of horse drawn carriages in the country.

The house and grounds are beautifully kept. There is plenty for all to do. There are at least three cafes on sight. Also picnic areas and a play area for children, where they will find footballs, a range of bats and rackets for them to play with and other equipment. Even in the house there are things to keep the children and adults interested, with helpful staff on hand.
