Couples will find Dovecote Cottage a self-contained retreat just outside King's Lynn. The whole property is yours alone, with everything on a single level: a living room with smart TV and streaming apps, an open-plan kitchen and dining area fitted with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and washing machine, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a separate shower room alongside an en-suite bath. The cottage was refurbished in 2024. Electricity, bed linen, towels and superfast Wi-Fi are included, and there's private parking for two cars on site.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob and microwave mean you can prepare meals at home, though King's Lynn's market town centre has restaurants if you'd rather eat out. An enclosed back garden with patio and seating area offers a quiet spot to spend the day. The property does not permit smoking. Those with an electric vehicle can use the charging point (you'll need to bring your own lead, and there is a cost for use).
The North Norfolk coast is within reach for beach walks and exploring villages like Blakeney, known for its nature reserve and seasonal wildlife. Inland, Oxburgh Hall presents 15th-century architecture and grounds to visit on a rainy day.
