Thornham is a village that feels genuinely removed from the everyday. The North Norfolk coastline nearby offers a run of characterful settlements—Wells-next-the-Sea with its famous beach huts, Hunstanton with its striped cliffs—linked by salt marshes, sandy beaches and working quays. You can cycle, walk or drive to any of them within the hour, or stay put and use the courtyard garden with its sun deck and barbecue.

Sea Holly Cottage is one of two converted farm workers' buildings on this small site, renovated in 2022. It has three bedrooms (one kingsize with an ensuite shower, one kingsize, one with bunk beds) and two bathrooms. The ground floor holds a sitting room with a wood burner and smart TV, plus a kitchen with a full electric range and all usual appliances, opening into a dining space. There's a utility room with washing and tumble drying. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen, towels and initial firewood are included; a highchair is available if needed. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for three cars and a bike store. One small, well-behaved dog stays free.

The village itself sits quietly inland, away from the busier seaside attractions but perfectly placed for exploring them. Walking and birdwatching are popular here, and there are two golf courses nearby. No smoking indoors.
