Wild Luxury

We are just back from a lovely group trip - we hired the 3 tents at top camp and had the best time. The camp literally has everything you could need and everything was lovely and clean. Even down to the lovely handwash and shower gel etc. it’s so handy being by Drove Orchards - we ate at Eric’s fish and chips, Eric’s pizza and had ice cream from the ice cream shop. Jodie was really friendly and helpful, gave us a good run down when we arrived. Would highly recommend! My only feedback would be to allow cars to drive up to the camp for loading/unloading if the ground allows it, it is quite a long walk backwards and forwards and even though the wheelbarrows help, it is quite a job when you’re travelling with a lot of stuff for a big group.

What a fantastic place. Stayed Friday until Monday. Leanne made us feel so welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. So peaceful and relaxing. There is an off road track taking you up to the site, but the whole point of going was to be completely away from main roads and busy areas so the track is all part of the experience of staying in a secluded part of the countryside. Nestled near woods with fantastic views. It was a fantastic experience and the lodge had everything you needed. The drive to the pub in Docking was only 10 mins, so not far at all. I would definitely stay here again, a wonderful break to recharge batteries.

Stayed end of July with my family of 12. The Camp has everything you need, it's off grid, but a welcome change.We had a fantastic family time. The meat from the local shop was amazing had 2 amazing BBQs. Jodie was amazing and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. We walked to the beach at Hilmes dunes which was such a stunning area. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We spent 3 fabulous nights here with another family; honestly I cannot think of any way in which the experience could be improved. It is set in beautiful surroundings with spotlessly clean tents. Beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were very good. The tent was equipped with everything you could need and the honesty pantry provided extra basics. The kids loved the accommodation, playing in the field with other families and nights by the fire. They also loved exploring the woodland unsupervised and collecting eggs from the free range chickens. There is tonnes of stuff to do locally and the Norfolk countryside is stunning. The directions to the campsite need to be slightly clearer as we did pass the sign for the road and had to turn back!
