About Norfolk Coast Path Camping and Glamping
Perched on four acres near Holme-next-the-Sea, this aptly named site offers sweeping views across the coast, village and Norfolk countryside—a genuine draw for anyone walking or cycling the 84-mile Norfolk Coast Path. Choose from a wide range of non-electric grass pitches suited to tents of all sizes, campervans and motorhomes, plus backpacker spots for those travelling light. Campfires and barbecues are both permitted, and dogs are welcome year-round, making it a relaxed base for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.
A fifteen-minute stroll leads to the sheltered cove at Holme Beach, with NWT Holme Dunes nature reserve reachable on foot in forty minutes. In the other direction, Old Hunstanton Beach catches spectacular sunsets, while the town itself (a five-minute drive) has chip shops, supermarkets and a funfair. That said, facilities on site are fairly basic—showers and loos, but nothing fancy—so it's best suited to campers who value position and access to the coast path over on-pitch comforts. A dog-friendly village pub sits ten minutes' walk away for hearty meals after a day on the dunes.

Me and my partner stayed here for a night and had a lovely time. Just what we wanted and perfect location to the beach. We also discovered the most incredible nearby pub called the white horse. Simon was amazing and we loved hearing about his rescued owls. We will definitely be back.

Location really good for access to the beach, local pubs and coast bus route. Site is also really quiet. £40 a night for the van is a lot for what is available on site, basic toilets and only one shower which was wasn’t great. Bottled water being offered out as no running drinking water available. Site facilities appeared like it’s not ready to be open yet. Would go elsewhere in future.

Having just stayed here after being "upgraded" from the other campsite owned, I am very disappointed. Only facilities were 2 containers with a couple toilets and one shower, no drinking water or place to wash up. Just a field, with the only positives being that the beach was down the road, and to be fair the warden was kind. But if this was an "upgrade", I dread to think what the other site is like. Do not pay the high price to stay here, the price is completely unjustified with the complete lack of facilities.

We stayed at the owners other campsite in Heacham and he told us about this Norfolk Coast Path Camping & Glamping Site so we gave it a go for the night, the campsite is brand new and just opened so very peaceful indeed, we had a lovely evening walking around the village of Holme and up to the Beach. There are a couple of nice places around to eat and the area is very dog friendly. The site itself is huge with lots of space to stretch out, gas powered showers were hot and open tot he outside, felt very au natural! very back to basics almost wild camping site, great for hikers and walkers and motorhomes alike
