Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage comes ready to use. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer and coffee machine, so you can cook proper meals rather than making do. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included, and there's initial fuel for the wood burner from October through March. A welcome pack arrives with you. If you're bringing children, a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand; a fireguard protects the burner itself.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a living and dining room with a 55-inch smart TV and space to seat six, a second sitting room with the wood burner and French doors to the garden, a modern kitchen, and a shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a king, a cabin bed (four feet), and a day bed that splits into two singles—plus a bathroom with both a freestanding bath and a separate cubicle shower. The enclosed back garden is secure, and there's private parking for three cars. One dog is welcome.

South Creake is a village setting near the Norfolk coast and within reach of Kings Lynn. Non-smokers only.
