St Margarets Cottage

St Margarets Cottage is a carefully restored two-bedroom property in King's Lynn that sleeps five. The owners have invested in genuine quality: the kitchen is properly fitted with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave; the living spaces have Freeview Smart TVs and Netflix; beds are dressed in Egyptian cotton; heating is underfloor and gas-fired. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels all come as standard, and there's a welcome pack on arrival.

Downstairs is open-plan, with kitchen, dining and living areas flowing together and a walk-in shower room off to one side. A small walled courtyard at the rear gets light into the main living space. Upstairs holds two bedrooms—a king in the larger room and a double in the smaller—plus a galleried mezzanine with a sofa bed for the fifth guest. The building itself carries real history: original sash windows, exposed beams, and brick walls that still bear the marks of a 1700s fire. No smoking throughout. There is a public car park nearby, charged at cost, which the owner refunds at the end of your stay.
