The Snuff Box

Clenchwarton sits in the heart of Norfolk's heritage landscape, within reach of Sandringham, Holkham, Castle Rising and the market town of King's Lynn itself. The Snuff Box is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage here, done up for self-catering stays. It sleeps three: one bedroom has a single bed on the ground floor, the other a double in the eaves upstairs. The living room is separate from the kitchen-dining space, which opens onto a rear garden with seating and furniture. One car can park on site, and one dog can stay free.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine all there. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; heating and hot water are covered too. There's a pub within a mile. No smoking inside the property.

The area suits people after history—Roman sites, medieval castles and stately homes fill the region—and wildlife watchers, with RSPB reserves and wetland nature centres nearby. Thetford Forest and the Norfolk coast are both within striking distance for a day out.
