What visitors say
It's not a beach really, more a collection of building rubble, shells, driftwood and rubbish. The brave could attempt to walk along the shoreline, but it's likely safer to just go to your local landfill and pay whoever's in the little hut a fiver to wade around up to your neck in refuse for half an hour.

Wide expansive beach rocky and sandy in places. The village has a large holiday park but if that’s not your bag, the beach is huge so you can get a long way away from it.

A beautiful, rocky beach with hundreds of thousands of seashells... Small patchy areas of sand too, so this beach had lots to offer for all kinds of beach lovers. The lighthouse is a great site too, although was under refurbishment when we visited, so we couldn't go inside. On a clear day, you can see the Isle of Man too!

I was going there once before, some months ago. On my approach, I remembered, that the public car park is a walk before arriving at the actual beach. That's acceptable for people who can walk. For anyone with difficulties in walking, then it's a No. Unfortunately, I don't recall reading this on previous reviewer comments.
