About Lighthouse Leisure
Lighthouse Leisure is a small campsite with tent, caravan and motorhome pitches, most with electric hook-ups. The pitches are laid out on manicured lawns a short walk from the beach and Southerness lighthouse. On site there is an indoor swimming pool, games room, kids' club and play area, plus a restaurant, café and bar with evening entertainment.
Facilities include showers, launderette, washing-up area and a food shop. Dogs are welcome year-round. The site has seasonal pitches available. Within moments of the entrance you will find a golf course, a gift shop and a hotel, while fishing, horse riding and cycle hire are all nearby. The beach itself is the main draw—close enough to reach on foot without needing a car.

What visitors say
After a bad start as I fell over by the reception (my own fault) and ended up in hospital, I have to say the gent in front desk couldn’t do enough for me. Popped round the next day to check on me and even said I could borrow a wheel chair. The site itself if full of really friendly staff especially in the mermaid bar they were great. Very nice atmosphere. The private pool was a hit with the family. Definitely worth it. Beach front is on your doorstep and lovely when you got the weather in Scotland like we did. My son left his phone and favourite teddy in the accommodation after we left and the reception called us to tell us but we live in the midlands. They were lovely enough to get this posted straight out to us. Literally have the happiest son now so thank you again. Overall amazing stay and will definitely be back.

We had a nice stay at the Lighthouse Leisure. The caravan was clean and tidy. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the beach and the Lighthouse, with the pubs and chip shop in a close proximity. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Kate, who gave us such a warm welcome and some excellent recommendations for nearby beauty spots.
