What visitors say
Nice place to visit. Weather not good so going back when it is better. Cafe was decent but a little bit expensive for the type of food on offer in my opinion. Owl centre was great. They have lots of different types from locations around the world but all have been bred in Scotland so not imported like zoo's. Flight display was enjoyable and informative. There is an entrance fee of £11.50 for adults and £9.50 for children so not too expensive again in my opinion but it depends on your budget. You can take food inside the owl centre as there are a few picnic benches under cover in there.

Busy park with a decent cafe, although it was overflowing with small very noisy pre school children. Nice park but the Owl Centre needs to up there game to acknowledge customers and realise we are paying them for a service not to be totally blanked by staff as they don't open for another few minutes...I had been waiting over an hour, but a nod or an invite to sit in one of the cordoned off seats would have stopped me walking out along with a family of five

These are just 3 photos out of the many plus pictures/videos I have of these absolute beautiful and majestic birds. Me and my husband love owls, we have visited centers including one in our home state of FL, the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey and you learn so much about each type of Owl. How they hunt, what the colors of the eyes mean in terms of hunting in the dawn and dusk etc. if you love birds just as much as us especially owls I would 100% recommend the Owl Center here at Polkemmet Country Park. While we were only fascinated with the center they do have a cafe, a playground, a golf course for those golf lovers and walking paths. Just many of the things all of us nature lovers enjoy!
