About Platos
Each of the eight rooms at Platos comes with its own en-suite bathroom, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Accessible rooms are also on offer, and every guest has free WiFi throughout their stay, whether settling in for the night or working from the room.
Downstairs, the restaurant and bar serve as the heart of the hotel, with breakfast included, kids' meals available, and packed lunches on request for guests heading out for the day. Outdoor seating gives an option for warmer weather, and there's a 24 hour reception for whenever guests arrive. Meeting rooms make Platos workable for business stays too, and pets are welcome. Parking is free and available nearby.
Kirkby Lonsdale itself puts guests within reach of Devil's Bridge and walks along the River Lune, with the wider Yorkshire Dales close by for longer days out. The area also suits those keen on cycling, walking, fishing, horse riding or golf, and there are pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out beyond the hotel's own kitchen.
