Slant End Cottage

Through the entrance of Slant End Cottage you step into a ground-floor open plan living space that brings kitchen, dining and sitting areas together. A double bedroom and a single bedroom sit upstairs, along with a bathroom fitted with both bath and shower. The cottage sleeps three and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; the kitchen has what you need to cook, from oven and hob to dishwasher. There is parking for one car on site, and an enclosed front garden with a sitting-out area.

Linthwaite is a village on the edge of the Peak District National Park, set in the Colne Valley between Huddersfield and the moorland villages of Marsden and Slaithwaite. A pub sits within a mile of the cottage. The converted Titanic Spa—the country's first eco-spa—is a 15-minute walk away, as is the canalside village of Slaithwaite, voted one of the best places to live in 2021. Marsden hosts an October jazz festival and the Stanedge Tunnel visitor centre. Holmfirth, around 20 minutes away, has its own vineyard. The Peak District is less than five miles; further afield are York, Harrogate, Leeds and Skipton, all within an hour's drive. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
