The casks are so Importen for the Taste of whisky. Here you can learn how they are assembled and repared. We did a nice Tour here. There Was a 10 Minute Film. Afterwards you could observe the coopers at work and Gott many Explorations. At the end there is a nice dram of smooth whisky and the opportunity to Shop Souvenirs. Great experience!

Had a wonderful experience at the Speyside Cooperage. Watching the coopers work in person was incredible—true craftsmanship in action. The aroma of oak, the precision, and the passion that goes into every whisky cask made the visit unforgettable. A must-see for anyone who appreciates the art behind great whisky.

Such an interesting addition to the usual whisky tours and insight into the local industry . I was initially disappointed we didn't get close to the coopers but after watching them for a while you could understand why- those men were working really hard with so many hazards. It was fascinating learning about how the distilleries handle the casks , what they want for the coopers , and the time frames . It also was so great to see how the community got involved with local youngsters training up , celebrating their graduation etc . Definitely recommend it - they also give you a MYSTERY DRAM at the end which was delicious !
