About Teardrop Cottage Bed and Breakfast
Teardrop Cottage sits on the Waterside, tucked into the Nidd Gorge a short walk from Knaresborough's centre, with the river running past almost at the doorstep. It has been featured in both the Guardian's and the Telegraph's coverage of good small-town breaks, and it is easy to see why once you're inside.
The three rooms are individually styled: a King Size Room with its own outdoor hot tub, a Chocolate Double Room overlooking the river, and a Pink Double Room with views up toward the castle. Each is finished to a high standard for a property of its size.
A guest lounge with a seasonal river terrace adds an extra place to sit out in good weather, and the cottage is open all year round rather than seasonally. Its position directly on the water, beneath the famous viaduct view, makes it one of the most atmospheric places to stay in Knaresborough.

My husband and I came for the night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Tear drop cottage is a beautiful little gem with the lovely backdrop of the viaduct and the River Nidd. Mike and Emma were very accommodating and our stay was perfect. We will definitely be rebooking in the future and would highly recommend Tear drop Cottage to others.

Misleading advertisement. This was a box room in someone's house. The bathroom was across the hall. The communal kitchen was outside our box room. People were eating breakfast in there from 8.30am, and it was extremely noisy. No access to a hot tub either. We do not recommend this accommodation.
