About Longview Hotel

The Longview Hotel occupies a row of Victorian townhouses on Manchester Road, overlooking Knutsford Heath and set within the town's conservation area. Its 23 guest rooms are individually decorated, with several premier rooms adding extra touches such as bathrobes, and the building's period character comes through in the fireplaces and traditional furnishings of the public rooms.

The hotel's restaurant, The Stuffed Olive, serves an international menu alongside a bar and lounge, and there is a small terrace for outdoor drinks and dining in warmer months. Complimentary wifi is available throughout.

Its location within a fifteen-minute walk of Tatton Park and close to Knutsford's shops and restaurants makes the Longview a practical, well-placed choice for visitors who want to be within walking distance of the town centre without paying country-house prices.

Great first impressions on arrival, the hotel is furnished nicely. Nothing looking worn and tired. Warm welcome on reception and was shown up to my room. Single room was spacious and immaculate. It was a warm day so was pleased to see a fan in the room (although this covered me in dust when first switched on). Bathroom looked very new and was a lovely shower. Location is good, only 5 minute walk to town. Only issue would have been the stingey breakfasts, only one bacon, one sausage but a huge pile of mushrooms and tomatoes. You could probably find a healthier portioned breakfast elswhere in the town for better value. Would stay here again if I found myself in Knutsford.

Rang up to cancel our stay well before the day and money (£200) was still taken out. On ringing the hotel they had absolutely no interest in the situation. A genuine miscommunication somewhere but still complete disregard for what I had to say. Disgusting! A number of reviews have commented on the poor level of customer service, and I can see why. Will be taking this further, plenty of excellent hotels in knutsford so don’t book here!

Lovely little hotel, the rooms are large and clean, much nicer than a generic premier Inn etc. The breakfast took a while to arrive as it was cooked for me rather than a buffet, excellent sausages. The only small complaint is that the room was very warm even with the window wide open all night

One of my favourite places in England. I lived near Knutsford when we lived in England and this hotel stands out. They were flexible with check in and this hotel has a lot of character and an interesting history. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the staff were flexible and professional. They were also informative re train schedules and Tatton Park. If you are tired of chain hotels without atmosphere I reccomend the Longview.
