We had an amazing time at Awel yr Awen Campsite. I really wanted to go somewhere that was really rural and eco friendly. I took my ten year old daughter with me and we stayed in the owl bell tent. It was a great way to camp without having to pack the tent and set it up. The owl bell tent was really spacious and clean and had a double and single bed which were really comfortable. We were able to bring our gas stove and had lots of room inside the tent to make a makeshift kitchen and seating area. There is already a picnic bench and fire pit for you to use which we did. We loved playing card games and making s'mores There is wood available to buy from the host. Rolanda is brilliant, she is a very responsive host and very accommodating. One of our highlights was seeing the chicken and roosters in the outhouses they were really funny and cute and my daughter loved them. There is a handy campers cabin on site too with a fridge freezer, kettle and other little amenities and you can charge your electricals there too. Showers and toilets are eco friendly so not modern but it makes it a proper camping stay and is a great way to completely switch off. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to get some great photos of the area/views which were stunning from our tent it was so peaceful and quiet we just loved it. Location is great for visiting local towns and beaches we managed Aberystwyth, llhanstrad, Aberaron and llangranog beach. All around a 15-30 minute drive. We would definitely recommend Awel yr Awen Campsite and hopefully be able to return soon. Thanks again Rolanda.

Great eco-friendly small scale campsite for who wants to experience the serenity and peacefulnes of the Welsh country. Pitches are spacious and secluded so you get loads of privacy. Checking in and out is hassle free. Amenities are fair for the price, we loved the semi-outside showers and the campfire pit. Would really recommend for peace seekers who don't mind sacrificing a little bit of comfort to get closer to nature.

Lovely quiet campsite nestled in nature. Perfect for stargazing! Pitches come with a firepit and there are compost toilets and hot showers in the field along with a washing up station. There's also a small campers cabin with plug sockets, a fridge and a kettle. The owner was v friendly and we loved staying on this campsite, hearing the owls at night time and the roosters at breakfast! Plus - only 25 minutes from New Quay beach for some epic dolphin spotting!

This is a beautiful eco-campsite about 20 mins from the coast in Ceredigion, West Wales. We stayed in a ready-erected bell tent with its own compost toilet - no issues with this at all. The already-made-up double mattress with super clean, good quality linen gave us a really good night’s sleep. The meadow is beautifully managed to create a balance between wildflowers and neatly-mown paths and tent emplacements. The showers are hot and free, a nice touch. You have your own fire pit and picnic table. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and it’s well worth a visit for the tranquil country side and natural surroundings.
