This converted barn dates from 2021, when it was fully renovated to create a contemporary rural retreat. Everything is on one floor: an open-plan living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, a fully equipped kitchen with electric range and dishwasher, a kingsize bedroom, and an ensuite with walk-in shower. A utility room houses a washer-dryer. Outside, a lawned garden with seating looks onto the surrounding countryside, and there is parking for one car.

Arkholme sits in Lancashire's north east, a few miles from the motorway but far enough to feel genuinely quiet. Kirkby Lonsdale, about 6 miles away, is the nearest market town, with supermarkets, restaurants, independent shops and pubs. The area suits walkers: there are established routes locally, and within 12 miles lie Arnside and Silverdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Yorkshire Dales and South Lake District are also accessible for day trips. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; please note smoking is not permitted. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
