What visitors say

Alan Bradshaw

Quieter than the usual country park. Covers a wide area so you can can enjoy splendid isolation in nature if you prefer that, with access to walks, woodland and wildflower meadows. Great for birds and wildlife. Very fog friendly with plenty of space. Regular family activities more kid focused. A nice café if a bit pricey. Very relaxing and enjoyable for an hour or two.

We went to take part in Earth and nature adventures bushcraft day and it was fantastic Nacho was so knowledgable and gave us real insight into nature and made it so fun and interactive. My daughter loved it as well. Tea and coffee provided but bring your food and snacks as you’ll be there minimum 3 hours: highly recommend this experience

A great park, dog, horse and child friendly! Play areas for the kids, beautiful area to ride and generally well maintained. I didn't try the Café as I was on horseback, but it looked impressive!

Great space for walking. A nice wee day out. Just wee note for taking dogs: there was a few offlead dogs, as with everywhere these days, just need to keep an eye out for them coming over to your on lead dogs especially if you have anxious or reactive pups.
