Excellent cinema with friendly staff. Always has regular screenings to fit around a busy schedule. They also get good quantity of special edition popcorn boxes. Plus the tickets are super cheap. Best vue in south wales

Excellent cinema and really lovely staff. 5-star in that respect. The lack of fifth star is the prices on the concessions. 12 for two drinks and a bag of sweets!? I paid over £50 for a drink and snack for 6 people at Christmas. Vue might as well make the staff uniforms come with a mask. I know it’s nationwide. Maybe this will get back to them. Doesn’t take away from the entire local experience here, it just puts me off purchasing anything here.

The Vue Cinema in Carmarthen is one of the biggest cinemas in the area, so it’s the likely place to have the latest movies. However, the cinema is in need of change. The screen we were situated in had the lights turned on throughout the movie, with one of the lights giving off an annoying glare visible through the whole movie. One of the things I did love about the Vue was the milkshakes, but nowadays they’re hard to come by as the machine is always in maintenance mode, because it needs cleaning which I don’t think happens for ages. There were four boys in the back of the screen who were also kicked out mid-way through the movie (Project Hail Mary) for being rowdy and annoying.
