A great place to visit if one is interested in science and medicine. The place is a bus ride away from the Leeds train station if one doesn’t drive. It’s better to prebook the tickets, but you can get it the same day too. Accessible via lifts, it has multiple floors and many exhibits to see. We enjoyed the beneath the sheets one. The place is well maintained and has many activity centers for children too. Nice gift shop.

Great museum with lots of information on medical procedures throughout the ages. Lots of interactive displays and Disease street is very interesting and well done. Great for people of all ages and has brilliant disabled access. I managed to get parked right outside the main entrance and navigate every area easily in my mobility scooter

A really interesting place to visit. Plenty to see and read. Enough to keep a pre-teen interested as well (my 12yo daughter). Paid parking on-site which was easy to sort. Cafe decent enough but they're not allowed to heat the pizzas/pies etc so you're ok if you prefer cold picnic food. On entry, you're asked to choose your own entry fee - really dislike that, but that could just be a personal thing.

Interesting, informative and interactive. We loved the 'step back in time' street, the family explorer bags and large print information books are a great addition for those that would benefit. I feel more could be added to make it more appealing to younger visitors e.g learn about anatomy or the 8 main senses and how medical knowledge has increased over the years, highlight how Dr's can help those with issues e.g. opthalmology office, dietician showing food groups and conditions like ARFID. Occupational therapy support to help vestibular and proprioception development. Maybe have large equipment to push/pull/carry/rock/bounce etc. Just a few ideas that would engage little ones. Overall I would recommend.
