We stay at this hotel multiple times a year. It is likely the best hotel in Leicester. But what makes it especially great is the service from its staff. Andy is a great example of the service that a fine hotel should give: she always makes sure to go the extra mile. She is also helpful with our sometimes complex requests when our family books numerous rooms for events. The two middle-aged gentlemen who are part of the night team (one who, like me, is of Indian heritage) are also always wonderful and make sure to give an enthusiastic welcome no matter what time of night it is. This hotel should be run as an example to other UK and European Marriotts. It is always a home away from home

I had a pleasant stay at the Leicester Marriott Hotel during my recent visit. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay after a busy day. A special mention goes to Sian Wood, Director of Operations, who was exceptionally supportive and approachable. His commitment to ensuring guests have a positive experience was evident, and he went above and beyond to assist whenever needed. It is always encouraging to see leadership so actively engaged with guests. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options and catered well to different preferences. While there is room for a few more choices, the quality of the food was good and it was a nice way to start the day. Room service was a bit slow at times, but the staff remained courteous and the delays were manageable. Overall, the service team was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. In summary, Leicester Marriott offers a comfortable stay with warm hospitality and strong customer focus. I would certainly consider staying here again and appreciate the efforts of the team, especially Sian Wood, in making my visit enjoyable.

Pleasant and comfortable stay. Rooms were great, well furnished and of good quality with air conditioning. The quality you expect at a 4 star hotel. furnishing felt premium. The hotel breakfast was excellent. 10/10. Eggs alway show the quality of a hotels breakfast, perfect scrambled and poached eggs. -1 star for feeling a bit price gougey. Avoid the hotel shop it’s more expensive than an airport. Early check in structure also a bit of a price gouge. I think there should be some common sense and flexibility, if a room is clean you should be allowed to enter without charge. This is the case at many hotels I visit at home. There’s no guarantee that you’re actually paying for an earlier cleaning service, room could be sitting empty or already clean at the time you enquire and could be paying for the sake of paying. A bit American to charge a tiered flat rate like this no matter the situation. £15-75 depending on how early you wanted in.
