About Premier Inn Leicester Forest East

Premier Inn Leicester Forest East is a two-storey hotel built to the chain's familiar practical design, with 60 rooms set back from Hinckley Road just off the M1, making it a straightforward stop for anyone travelling into or out of Leicester. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family or accessible layouts, and while most are kept in good order, a few have been noted as a bit tired around the edges, so it is worth mentioning if anything in your room needs attention.

A restaurant and bar on site cover breakfast, dinner and drinks, with the cooked breakfast in particular singled out as a highlight, and staff have been praised for going out of their way to help guests settle in. Free on-site parking is available at the front of the hotel, and reception operates around the clock for early starts or late arrivals.

Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers golf, fishing and horse riding for those wanting to fill a day, along with nearby pubs and restaurants for evenings out. It's a functional base rather than a destination in itself, well suited to travellers passing through Leicester rather than those seeking a characterful stay.

Stayed here as a base for the British Grand Prix. The location was 45 mins from the park and ride we booked which was perfect. The restaurant and rooms overall have seen better days but we were literally only sleeping there. Few little nice touches though - little bookshelf full of kids books to take and read and return a little activity pack and bubbles in the room too were absolutely welcomed by the kids along with the little welcome note. Not received these anywhere else so hats off for those thank you!

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything in the room worked including the fan which made the stay more comfortable it was a hot night. The staff were very efficient and helpful especially Julie who was very helpful when ordering my food and drinks. Explained the menu well and also the value for money breakfast and dinner combo. Thank you Julie. I was staying due to work commitments and will make sure I stay here each time I'm travelling for work.

Superb 👌!!! Working away have had a flying visit here before and was lovely then but short, however this time have had more nights here to comment on the venue. The rooms are fab, in comparison to other well known hotel chains that I regularly also have to stay in throughout the country. With this particular Premier inn (and ive been in hundreds) i loved the caring and friendliness of the staff who made me and my colleagues feel so welcome and at home for our stay for the week. Kim, Emma and Toni were polite, competent, friendly, accommodating and just in general an over all pleasure to of met and will be requesting this venue again for my team as they all equally enjoyed it. .. my only gripe was the time taken from order to delivery of the food, which I thought was a bit excessive. The staff were very apologetic and explained there was a small issue but she resolved it and the food was "amazing" when I got it. I had the homemade ravioli, with tomato and mascopone, with green pesto and grill chicken breast and rocket and it really was incredible tbh. Overall the staff were brilliant, the food was excellent (althought slightly to long for my liking), the Premier inn beds are always the most comfortable beds ever (have even bought one for home (and the pilliows)) so this gets a 5 star rating from me (and that is due to the great staff and their hospitality which made me over look the issue with the delay on food) Keep doing what your doing Kim, Emma and Toni, live my life in UK hotels and your doing it right 👌😉
